Tired
of constantly adjusting the windscreen to your bike speed?
Wouldn't it be great to not have to thumb the handlebar switch all the
time while driving? Well now you can just concentrate on
riding
the FJR, and let JSC's new AutoScreen controller do all the adjusting
for you automatically. Ensures screen is fully down when bike
is
off, as many of the FJR's auto drop feature doesn't seem to
work.
Programmable with (2) remote controls.
Developed by an
Engineer and motorcycle enthusiast who needed to have the screen
adjusted high enough to direct the airstream up and over his helmet for
a quiet ride, due to a tinnitus condition he developed. Wind
roar
inside the helmet can cause ringing in the ears. At the same
time, he preferred to look over the top edge of the screen whenever
possible, minimizing the optical compromise brought about when viewing
through multiple screens.
Keeping the windscreen as low as
possible for any given speed reduces aerodynamic drag which maximizes
fuel mileage and range while minimizing the susceptibility of
turbulence and gusts.
Additionally, the cpu systematically steps down the screen height as
vehicle speed approaches triple digits.
